North Garden is home to Cocke’s Mill House and Mill Site. A miller’s house originally built in 1792, it was added to the National Register of Historic places in 1990. Cider fans, meanwhile, can indulge themselves at Albemarle Ciderworks, which has been producing distinctive ciders from the orchards of parent company Vintage Virginia Apples since 2009.
