Jim Faulconer is the co-founder and Principal Broker of McLean Faulconer Inc. Realtors, a full service real estate firm located in Charlottesville, Virginia that opened on October 1, 1980. Jim has worked for buyers and sellers in all price ranges in the real estate market of Charlottesville, Albemarle County, other Central Virginia counties, as well as in other parts of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Jim has been a licensed Virginia Real Estate Broker for just over 50 years, which during that time he has sold residential properties, large and small farms, luxury estate properties, vacant land, and commercial properties throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Some of Jim’s distinctive sales include: Montalto adjoining Monticello, a 300 plus acre estate sold to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation; Lewis Mountain, a beautiful 43-acre estate overlooking UVA and Charlottesville, across to Monticello; and, Carters Grove, an historic Virginia estate circa 1750, representing the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
Jim has served on numerous local boards; and has contributed financially to many organizations including: Martha Jefferson Hospital; the UVA Medical Center and Emily Couric Cancer Center; Charlottesville SPCA; Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation; Virginia Athletic Foundation; the Paramount Theater, and numerous other local organizations.
Jim is a native of the Charlottesville area, he currently resides in Albemarle County, and is married to his wife Gail for 40 years. They have three children and seven grandchildren, fortunately all residing in the Charlottesville area.
